Web Developer - PHP

Responsibilities

Write “clean”, well designed code
Produce detailed specifications
Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Follow industry best practices
Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Requirements

Proven web development experience in PHP
Understanding and hands on experience of open source projects like WordPress, Prestashop, Magento, Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc
Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc
Good experience of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)
Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
Experience with ecommerce solutions including payment APIs
Experience with typical UX/UI theory, behaviors, and layout concepts
Experience with responsive-design solutions especially for mobile
Experience with cross-browser consistency and testing
Understanding of developing custom framework starting from PSD files or sliced HTML files
Knowledge and understanding of development cycles/stages
Debugging abilities for both server-side and client-side issues
Website optimization techniques for code, queries, and graphics
Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas

Basics

Any Graduate/ Non Graduate
1-3 years relevant experience
