Merx Exports is a fully engineered apparel contractor utilizing garment analysis and Standard Allowed Minutes (SAM’s) for complete contract apparel manufacturing coverage from cutting and sewing through finishing. Our highly experienced and skilled staff is equipped to complete all your clothing and apparel manufacturing requirements in-house, and our production capacity is flexible to accommodate growth and shrinkage, as production requires.

Reputed as premium quality apparel manufacturing contractors, our process begins with product development; continues on through apparel pattern making and grading, marker making and plotting. Next, garments are constructed in the cutting and sewing departments and are then carefully examined for any defects. Finally, the constructed garment is sent to the finishing department to be pressed, examined again, hung, tagged, and shipped according to our client’s specifications.

Our clothing and apparel contract manufacturing facility employs the most recent Technology driven Computer oriented Production Systems to coordinate garment production and quality control. This allows our supervisory and quality staff better management of style, cut, color and production. As a result, all your garments are accounted for as well as inventories of all cut styles. Our highly skilled staff assures you will receive quality garments every time.

Apparel Product Development

Product Development is responsible for clothing and apparel sample making such as prototypes, duplicates, and pilot lots. Our clothing and apparel sample makers’ work closely with our pattern maker to create the garment samples you require. We can generate samples from a conceptual idea or from your existing specifications or 
hard copy pattern.

Having a department that can provide various clothing and apparel samples is invaluable when it comes to breaking down and pricing new garments. Different seam allowances and shrinkage are taken into account to accommodate for different fabrics and washes. These clothing and apparel samples provide subjective and objective fit information to technical design. Weekly fit meetings are conducted to evaluate against the specs needed by the sewing room in order to adhere to customer guidelines.

Running new items through the clothing and apparel sample making department provides the sewing room valuable insights on how to better handle a new fabric or design. Product development also provides our Clients with independent ideas that may enhance their marketing strategy.

Apparel Pattern Making

Our experienced on-staff clothing and apparel pattern maker can develop your first pattern, create a pattern from an existing sample or specification, or make alterations to hard paper patterns or digitized data using our on-site digitizer. Our garment pattern maker works very closely with the product development department to create a proper look and garment fit. Working from the original pattern, all sizes are graded to your specifications. We use the state-of-the-art Systems to generate accurate, dependable patterns.

Apparel Marker Making and Plotting

Using the state-of-art systems, our experienced marker making staff will lay your markers for optimal fabric utilization. As result there is very little waste and all markers deliver the highest yields possible.

We can produce single or multiple size markers, and we have experience in handling a wide variety of fabrics including knits, lycras, stripes, and plaids.

Approved markers are then plotted on our plotting systems providing you with additional control over your cutting.

Apparel Cutting Room

The garment cutting room uses automatic spreading equipment and the Computerized Cutting System. As a key area of clothing and apparel contract manufacturer, the garment cutting room closely adheres to all pattern specifications ensuring that subsequent phases of garment construction consistently turn out a finished product exactly as our customers require. We can satisfy any size order and have experience in military cutting and a variety of fabrics including knits, rayon, polyester, lycra, spandex, cottons, all sorts of blends, and more.

Apparel Sewing Room

Our contract sewing room employ’s the state-of-the-art computerized production system allowing our supervisory staff better production management over style, cut, and color. As an apparel cutting and sewing contractor, every stage of garment construction is meticulously assembled and must adhere to strict quality guidelines. Our in-process quality control system is designed to provide a defect free garment that will meet your exact specifications. In addition, our engineers and quality control staff also conduct weekly quality fit meetings to ensure the cutting and sewing specification standards of each garment style that goes through production.

Apparel Pressing and Finishing

As a full-service clothing and apparel contract manufacturer, your garments are fully examined, pressed, tagged and bagged in the pressing and finishing department before leaving our facility. We employ the automated system in the pressing and finishing department to prevent the possibility of wrinkling as sewn garments mechanically travel throughout the finishing process until they are ready for shipping. The automated system method of moving garments also allows us to immediately address and resolve any quality problems that might be present.

Apparel Warehousing

Our warehouse is designed to provide centralized storage of piece goods and fabrics with capabilities to also inventory and hold finished products. We record and process all our piece goods and supplies through our warehouse resulting in tighter inventory controls and elimination of potential lost trim items. We have secure receiving docks and a storage capacity of over 1 million yards of fabric.

Follow these steps to get your custom clothes made

  • Step 1st: Contact us (email, online meeting, phone)
  • Step 2nd: Receive quote for prototype (custom sample) and bulk order
  • Step 3rd: Get fabric sample or ready-made sample pack (only apply for t-shirt, polo shirt, Jeans)
  • Step 4th: Make payment for prototype (or custom sample) and approve for sample
  • Step 5th: Make payment for bulk order -> receive bulk order
